The Polar Unidirectional TVS (Transient Voltage Suppression) Diode is a specialized semiconductor device designed to protect sensitive electronic circuits from transient voltage spikes and surges. Operating with a VRWM (Working Peak Reverse Voltage) of 36V, this diode effectively clamps transient voltages that exceed its breakdown voltage (VBR), which ranges from 40V (minimum) to 44.2V (maximum). It features ultra-low reverse leakage current (Ir) of 1μA, ensuring minimal power dissipation during normal operation. The diode can handle peak pulse currents (Ipp) of up to 25.9A and transient power dissipation (Ppp) of 1500W for 10/1000μs pulses, making it highly reliable in protecting sensitive electronics.
