TVS diode and ESD diode of these two circuit protection devices, the two work on the same principle, but in power, application occasions, packaging form, etc. are very different, specifically in: ESD diodes, the main function is to prevent static electricity, however, anti-static requirements of the junction capacitance value of the low value, generally in the 1 - 3.5PF between the best; and the junction capacitance value of TVS diodes is relatively high.ESD diodes, the main application of the ESD diodes are mainly used for board level protection; TVS diodes are used for primary and secondary protection.
